Porcini days on Kopaonik is an event that takes place in early September. The event aims to bring together nature lovers and hiking enthusiasts and mushrooms and products thereof. Participants can compete in harvesting and preparing mushroom dishes. Quality of porcini is assessed by the jury in several categories. At the closing ceremony of the event, on the main square with cultural and artistic program, the hardest boletus on Kopaonik is being proclaimed. For the best in various disciplines the prizes are provided.
